Also worth mentioning is the Family Ticket with discounted rates for two or three adjoining compartments. Accessible compartments are also available for passengers with reduced mobility.
Are there seating cars?
For smaller budgets, the train also includes seating cars, which provide an economical alternative to the sleeper cars. Tickets are available from less than 100 euros. The seating cars also offer space for bicycles.
How are the washing facilities equipped?
Each sleeper compartment is equipped with a washbasin. The premium Club Rooms and Caledonian Doubles additionally offer a private bathroom with toilet and shower, which is particularly appreciated on the longer journey to the Highlands. Guests in Classic Rooms share the toilets located at the end of the car. Accessible compartments with appropriate sanitary facilities are available in each part of the train.
